Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has claimed that during his one-week confinement at Ankaful Prison after being arrested, he felt at home.
Contrary to popular belief, he claimed that the experience had not made him humble.
The leader of the Shatta Movement claimed that he received the same treatment from the prisoners as he had in the past from his supporters.
"When I was locked up, I genuinely felt at home. Because after spending 30 years there, no one has ever seen Shatta Wale. They therefore brought me water as soon as they saw me. Others brought me food (mostly from their visitors). It was the same manner in the in there as when people see me in the streets and fall to their knees at the "Jailhouse," he told TV3's Showbiz 360 was no difference .
He continued, "It wasn't like they took me there to suffer, it was like a vacation. I wasn't very humbled by it.
He continued, "It was more like a vacation; it wasn't like they took me there to suffer. Actually, it didn't make me humble.
